December 30, 2011

It’s Friday. Time to join Hilary @ Feeling Beachie for her Follow Friday Four Fill in blog hop. Each week she lists four statements with blanks for us to fill in on our own blogs. Hilary is always open for suggestions and if she chooses your statements she will make you co-host!!!
This week’s statements:

1. Lately, I have been feeling  a little___________

2. I am usually a ______

3. ________________________is always the best feeling at the end of the day

4. _________________________is the first thing I do in the morning

My answers:

  1. Lately, I have been feeling a little down and depressed. As much as I love the holidays, there’s always a part of me that wishes they were just over and done with.
  2. I am usually a very positive and happy person. Maybe it’s naive but I always try to see the best in people and give them the benefit of the doubt.
  3. Sinking into a warm bubble bath, music softly playing in the background and candles flickering is always the best feeling at the end of the day.
  4. Brushing my teeth is the first thing I do in the morning.

I think that it is great that you try to see the best in people…. You made me want a bubble bath.. I think I will need one this weekend 🙂

You do seem like a naturally happy and positive person. It’s a wonderful character trait. 🙂

    Happy New Year!

I understand about the feelings at this time of year. This is possibly the first in a very very long time that I felt relaxed and not stressed/depressed. New year just around the corner 🙂 Time for a ‘fresh start’, eh? 🙂
I use GFC (I have a blogger blog) so I followed you via that..will also do it via Twitter and FB (@lossoleffco & nlhome) so I make sure it took 🙂

    Susi,
I completely agree with the sentiments about the holidays….it is really tough … especially for those who might not be surrounded by family and friends or if their loved ones are far away!

    • Susi January 2, 2012 at 6:39 pm

Brenda, we’ve said it before and I’m sure we’ll say it again. Now that the new year is here I’m feeling and thinking much more positive already!!! 🙂

Sounds like many of us feel the same way as #1. I love your answer for #3. It sounds so peaceful and relaxing.

    • Susi January 2, 2012 at 6:40 pm

Yvonne, #3 is definitely one of my escapes from the daily grind. It’s my hour just for myself… no kids, no hubby, no pets!!!

Oh, to have a nice bath!! I have a bath tub but I refuse to sit in it! And I do have a hot tub….but it’s not the same.

I’m pretty positive and upbeat myself. I try not to take things too seriously.

Yeah, I’m like that too around the holidays. The build up and then the crash of the next day. I just want my house back. It’s all pretty and fun, but it displaces so much of my things and crowds out my spare room that it gets overwhelming sometimes.

Thank you for visiting my blog! It’s been a pleasure! Happy New Year.
