Each week Hilary at Feeling Beachie lists four statements with blanks for us to fill in on our own blogs. She is always looking for new ideas. If you send her some statements and she uses them you will be made co-host. It’s so much fun and interesting to read everyone’s answers.

This week’s statements:

1. ________ is not my strongest virtue.

2. _________ is my favorite meal of the day

3. ___________ is my ____________

4. Whenever ____________ happens, I always _____________.

My answers:

  1. Spontaneity is not my strongest virtue.
  2. Dinner is my favorite meal of day. It’s when the whole family is together and we talk about our day and things that are going on.
  3. The Vampire Diaries is my new obsession. Thank you Netflix.
  4. Whenever something bad happens, I always get upset and want to cry. (Yeah, I know, not very original. But I had the hardest time with this one.)

I think I was more spontaneous when I was younger and obviously, did not have 3 kids. now I find it impossible. Perhaps a goal for 2012?

I chose it as my mantra for 2012… to be a bit more spontaneous and not always worry about everything else going on!!!

I’ll have to check out the Vampire Diaries…but you are into the whole Vampire thing anyway… Miss I love Twilight!!!!! hahahahaha

Brenda… Yes, I freely admit I have a vampire obsession… it really started years ago with Interview with a Vampire… for a while I read every vampire book by Anne Rice I could get my hands on!!!!

  • Hilary January 6, 2012 at 7:41 am

I have never gotten into the vampire diaries, or twilight or any of those…

    • Susi January 6, 2012 at 10:16 am

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, Hilary. I know a lot of people who cannot stand any of the vampire movies/shows but are really into all things Harry Potter.

I can totally identify with being obsessed with watching a tv series on Netflix! My goal in December was to watch all of Friday Night Lights. I finished up the last 2 episodes on New Year’s Eve!!! They make it so easy now to watch all those favorite shows. Not sure about Vampire Diaries but I might give it a shot.

It is so easy and fun…no commercial interruptions anyone??? Hubby started watching Heroes and we never bothered with it when it was on regular TV… now we both can’t stop watching.

My daughter loves the vampire diaries – I tried to watch some with her once and couldn’t really follow it – probably needed to start at the beginning

  • Susi January 6, 2012 at 10:20 am

Tami, we started at the first episode and I actually read up on it a little on Wikipedia. I think, you really have to watch every episode to keep up with it. It’s pretty good… not Twilight!!! But we’ll keep watching… Paul Wesley is so easy on the eyes!!!! 🙂

I agree with you on number 2, sometimes it’s the only time we do have a conversation.
    Number 4, me too! : )

  • Shannon January 6, 2012 at 6:53 pm

I have not seen The Vampire Diaries yet…maybe someday.

    Happy Friday!

    • Susi January 6, 2012 at 8:50 pm

That’s what I’ve been saying…Thanks to Netflix you can actually say that:”Maybe someday!!!” 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

I think, #2 is the case in most families. Everyone is busy during the day and dinner time is when everyone gets together.

I’m not very spontaneous either. I like to know the plan!

    • Susi January 6, 2012 at 11:18 pm

Exactly my point. I don’t know why that is so hard to understand… with 3 kids, 3 pets etc…it’s good to have and know the plan!!! Right???

  • Liz @ A Nut in a Nutshell January 8, 2012 at 4:01 pm

I think dinner is my favorite meal too, but probably for a bad reason. It’s the BIGGEST!

    • Susi January 8, 2012 at 10:56 pm

You know it’s funny. Growing up in Germany lunch was always our biggest meal which is so much healthier. I try hard to always have a balanced meal… but sometimes that goes right out the window!!!

oh yes, vampire diaries. I often forget that show has dialogue, i’m too busy starting at the cute boys.

    • Susi January 11, 2012 at 3:15 pm

Ha Ha Ha …too funny. I totally understand though. The show sure has some yummy eye-candy.
