Born German - Made American; Life, Photography, Food
I'm Susi! Wife, mom of 3, blogger, slight social media addict, and photography lover. I was born and raised in what was then East-Germany. My family came to the US when I was 16. And I (finally) became a proud American citizen on January 11, 2012. Read More…

AHHHH… to be young and free and swim at will!
Great pictures… looks like fun..
NOW on another note…are you anywhere near where they found that huge python? My daughter and I read that article and decided we would NEVER step foot into Florida…. ever….ever….ever.

Well, I still swim at will at least during the summer!!! And they always have fun when they are anywhere near water. I’m not sure where in the Everglades they found the python but yes, we are pretty close. The Everglades span across a large area of Florida and we live pretty far out west on the East-Coast. Our neighborhood used to be part of the Everglades until it was dried out and developed!!! That’s why we have all the lakes and ponds… for drainage.
holy cow….er, snake!
I can just hear Zoo Zoo now: “ah, so cute….can I pet it?” :/

Wow, you’re so lucky to have that right there! So much fun!
Yeah, I’ve counted my lucky stars that we have a pool. This one is actually at great-grandma’s.

love that one where the three of them step off together.
I love that one too. It’s one of my faves.
Thanks for stopping by.

It’s at the kids’ great-grandma’s house. They love the hot tub and waterfalls too.
NO!!! I don’t want it to be the end of summer yet.

Me either. But the end is in sight… ugh!
the end? nnnoooo, say it isn’t so. does that mean school starts there soon? because you can still swim during the year, right? my retirement fantasy depends on your “yes” answer. LOL.
is that a perfect handstand I spy? love doing that.

Yes, YOU can still swim the rest of the year. Unfortunately, without a pool heater the water gets pretty gold. We have the community pool once it’s too cold to go into our pool. And yes, her handstand is awesome. She’s really perfected it this summer. School starts the 27th!!!
That is an awesome pool! I would love to have one for my boys.
