It seems this week I went from one appointment to the next.
Middle had an eye check up, the boy started golf practice and Middle dance camp.
I went driving back and forth to school, the golf course and home.
Sometimes all in one day.
Today was a doozy…
Middle had to be at school for dance camp, then we had some time (the boy got a new pair of shoes and so did this mommy) and the boy had to go to practice, from there we went back to school to pick her up, drove home, grabbed a bite to eat.
Then the boy and I headed out again back to school for middle school orientation and finally got home at 8pm.
On top of it all my poor hubby has been on the couch sick for two days.
It’s been fun.
Tomorrow promises to be another busy day with open house for both Middle and the boy, at separate times.
After this week I kinda look forward to the routine of the school year.
Seems we’ll be spared major troubles from the hurricane that’s heading in our direction and should only have to deal with some rain.
Now, time to fill in some blanks.
Each week, Hilary plans on listing four statements with a blank for us to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her at feelingbeachie@gmail.com. If she uses them, she will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Pam from Trooppetrie she came up with the last two statements….
Hilary would LOVE it if you could please help her spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
Here are this week’s statements:
- I hate ____
- I have never been to ____
- The hobby I love the most is_____________ and one day I will ____________________.

The Northern Lights are well worth any trip to see them. They are spectacular.

I would love to see the Northern Lights too! Oh, I love olives but they definitely have a bite to them and I can see why some people might not go them!

I’ve tried olives many times and I just can’t get over the saltiness… it’s too much for me.

I love green olives but not crazy about black, although I will eat them. I’d love to see the Northern Lights too! I’m crazy about photography too!
Here’s my Answers

Seems a lot of us like photography! As for the olives, the ones I do occasionally eat are green as well.

I hope you’re right about Isaac. Katrina taught me to keep my eyes open – it wasn’t supposed to come our way but it suddenly dipped and came in just north of us. Thank God it was a weak category 1 because we were not ready for it!
I thought about Northern lights, but I said Hawaii because I prefer warm weather. I’m a fan of Tarjay too! Have a wonderful (and storm-free) weekend!

I may have spoken too soon about Isaac… hope it doesn’t get too bad though. Stay safe!!! Hawaii is a good place to visit too… climbing on one of the volcanoes would definitely be pretty cool.

I would love to visit the Pacific Northwest!
We were on the same wavelength with 3 & 4! Awesome.

That is some busy schedule you had this week hope the Mr. feels better soon for you too :] be safe
I’ll try to take some pics. We’ve had so much rain here that the ground is over saturated and that’s a big worry… flooding! We’ll see how it goes. Thanks.
Marc also hated olives, but I recently got him to like them a little (thanks to the portugeese resturant by our house)

I remember!!! As I said there is one salad that has green olives and I can eat some of them… all others still won’t go down!!!
Really really good soup at that place!
If I was half the photographer you were…..I could get a picture of the Northern Lights for you! They are truly amazing….to stand underneath the sky with that dazzling light snow above you – one of the most beautiful and incredible things I have ever seen. (hence my online name RoryBore….which is how my daughter tried to say Aurora Borealis).
After saying that, how sad is it that I really want to see a Target? bwah

crap *show*, not Snow.
gosh I really hope that was not foreshadowing…..the leaves are already changing colour here.

Ha ha. Thanks for your vote of confidence… also, Target is pretty cool but it can’t come close to the Northern Lights.

Oh yes, the Northern Lights. That is definitely one of the things I want to see someday.
Funny about olives. They were always OK to me but B loves them so now there is always black olives in our pantry. I can put them in salads or on mini pizzas to get him to eat them so they are a staple.

We always have olives in the house too… the hubby loves snacking on them. And I continue to try them.
