Let’s fill in some blanks…

January 25, 2013

Each week, Hilary plans on listing four statements with a blank for us to fill in on our own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com. If she uses them, she will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Beth Ann from It’s Just Life she came up with the last two statements!

Hilary would LOVE it if you could please help her spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:
1. Making ____ is ____
2. I get ___ easily
3. The number of emails in my inbox is _________ and ____________
4. Traveling _______________ makes me _______________.

My answers:

1. Making baked ziti is one of my favorite meals for hubby to cook.

2. I get frustrated easily. (If I think, I know how to do something and then can’t figure out why it isn’t working.)

3. The number of emails in my inbox is not so bad right now and I may have just jinxed myself.

4. Travelling for short weekend getaways makes me happy and relaxed and also, enjoy coming home again.

I love baked Ziti. Hell, I love anything Italian!
I get frustrated easily too. Right now I cannot figure out why our surround system isn’t working. It’s a pain having 4 remote controls. (That’s right, I said FOUR).
    How is Ally feeling?

We have three and hubby just got a new stereo thingy and I’m still trying to figure out how to use it. So I definitely know your pain. She is much the same as yesterday. I really dislike colds. 🙁

Thanks, Happy Friday to you. Yes, sometimes it’s good to know others struggle with the same issues just as much as you do.

I prefer short weekend getaways. A mini vacation is refreshing without being far from home too long.

I totally understand about the remotes. I think there’s 6 on my coffee table.

    • Susi January 25, 2013 at 11:30 pm

Tami, we did manage to downsize some of the remotes and hubby is using this app on his tablet now. So, maybe soon we will only have that.

Ah, ziti – we should all be so lucky as to have a wife like you.

    Jinx – knock on wood!

Brenda, sometimes it skips a generation, so maybe you get lucky with the grand kids. 🙂

your #2 is so me too!! I over estimate my available brain power, mental ability or stamina and start a project……and then I get stuck at some point when the realization that I am an idiot becomes too obvious. And that’s the point you’d think I’d just walk away — but do I? Nay, nay. It’s personal now, and I will defeat you #$*$*#(!!!! LOL
I am certain baked ziti would solve all though 😉

Yup, I feel exactly the same way, Leslie. Eventually I get it, even if I have to force it!!! 🙂

  • Sandra January 25, 2013 at 6:11 pm

I have a different version of baked ziti called Beefy Mac. I use elbow pasta instead of ziti and make it the same way. The kids love it! I just saw a segment on The Today Show about how many unopened emails in your inbox can be an indicator for your personality. I’m somewhere in between the extremes… I always have some, but not too, too bad. 🙂 Happy weekend!
