10 bags of mulch, 5 bags of pebbles, assorted planters, flowers and decorations later and my front yard has been beautified!

It’s GORGEOUS! I wish I had a front yard to set up 🙂

    Happy Wordless Wednesday!

Thanks, Patty. Honestly, sometimes, I wish I didn’t have to deal with it – gardening is not really my thing but I like the way it came out! 🙂

It is always so refreshing to give the outside a face lift… I love the bright colors you chose!

Thanks, Brenda. My yard was in desperate need of some tlc as you can see by the before pics. For not having a green thumb I think I did pretty well! 🙂

I’m insanely jealous and yet immeasurable proud! Fantastic job!!
It looks absolutely beautiful — what a lovely setting to greet people when they visit.

Now I am so restless for our spring to get here. but it will be middle of May before I can do anything 🙁

Thank you so much, Leslie. Coming from you it really means a lot. You know me and my not-so-green thumb! 🙂

Thank you. I love to look at the yard but wish I didn’t have to deal with the required work! 🙂

I’m so jealous. It snowed here today. I won’t be out in the yard until May. You picked some of my favourites, marigolds, snapdragons. Do the dragonfiles light up? (mine do and they change colour too. Your’s look way classier than mine LOL) Great job and you say you have no green thumb.

    • Susi March 14, 2013 at 5:40 pm

Hi Paul and thanks. I do like the marigolds and snapdragons too. The girls picked all the flowers out. I just wanted lots of color… The dragonflies unfortunately don’t light up – but that’s next. I want to add some more decorations and little statues etc.

So how would you feel about coming over to beautify my yard??? Happy WW!

    • Susi March 14, 2013 at 5:38 pm

Loy, I’m not sure how I feel about it – it took a lot of hemming and hawing to get mine done. I do not have a green thumb! 🙂

I will live vicariously through your gardening right now!!!! Can’t wait to put plants and herbs out!!!

    • Susi March 14, 2013 at 5:36 pm

Beth Ann, I bet – especially, after all the snow you guys have been getting. Crazy…

  • AnnMarie March 13, 2013 at 8:07 pm

We could use some colors over here. Everything is gray snow and browns and blacks. DREARY! I, unfortunately don’t have a green thumb at all. Your yard looks beautiful!

    • Susi March 14, 2013 at 5:35 pm

Thanks, AnnMarie. I do feel for you guys up North. It’s just been coming and coming hasn’t it?

  • Stacy Uncorked March 13, 2013 at 9:00 pm

Oh wow! It looks AMAZING! Wanna come work on our flower beds for me? 😉

    • Susi March 14, 2013 at 5:34 pm

I don’t think my thumb is that green, yet!!! 🙂

  • Tami March 15, 2013 at 6:13 pm

Oh, how I wish it was warm here so I could begin planting flowers again!!

    • Susi March 15, 2013 at 7:54 pm

Tami, hopefully, it won’t be too long now for you guys. It’s been pretty bad with all the snow, huh?
