Here’s my PicWrap for the week. Please, click on an image to open the slide show function and read the captions. Thanks and enjoy!
We started the week with an afternoon at the community pool. The kids enjoyed the heated pool while I sat and shivered a bit from the cold wind coming off the lake wrapped in a beach towel.
The next day it was too cold and windy to go to the pool so I took the girls to the playground instead. My boy is too cool and old for the playground now. 🙂
We also played a lot of ping pong all week. Middle is getting so good and managed to whip daddy’s butt a few times.
Of course, I couldn’t let the week go by without some baking. In honor of Easter I made pastel colored mini vanilla – almond cupcakes with vanilla cream cheese frosting and sprinkles. The only bad thing about these – they are too easy too eat!
An Easter tradition in our household same as in many others across the world – coloring Easter eggs. Again, just the girls and I…
Saturday was family day. We went to Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound, Fl and spent the afternoon on a skiff on the Loxahatchee River. The two big kids had so much fun on the bow of the boat…
On the way home we got to see a beautiful sunset to cap off the day.
Sunday morning couldn’t come soon enough for our Little One. She couldn’t wait to see if the Easter bunny left Easter eggs filled with yummy candies in the front yard for her to find. My egg hunters had a lot of fun!
And what would Spring Break be without at least one fishing trip? After Easter brunch the girls and I packed up our camping chairs and gear and enjoyed a few hours by the lake reeling in the fish!
If you’d like to know more about our family trip you may want to read hubby’s take on it over on his blog. I will post lots of picture goodness sometime later this week!
Feel free to link up your own picture goodness from the past week!!!
