Cleaning Up My Act

[*This is a sponsored post. I received a 90-day supply of EpiCor, but was not paid. All opinions are 100% my own.]

Spring cleaning is something I do all year long. Just recently, I cleaned out and organized my bathroom cabinets and linen closet. I like things clean and tidy and clutter free.

But while I always try to be on top of things when it comes to keeping the house as neat and tidy as possible, with three kids and a few animals around, I often neglect to take care of myself.

I have to confess that over the holidays and throughout the past few months, I haven’t been as diligent watching what I eat or sticking to my exercise routine.

But when Jessica asked me to try out EpiCor, a new supplement that helps balance your immune system, I decided to work on Spring cleaning my health.

I started taking EpiCor, a natural substance that, when taken daily, brings the functioning of the immune system into a state of balance – and helps the body maintain wellness.

Here is a short video explaining the benefits of EpiCor.

I’ve also started exercising more regularly and try to hop on the elliptical three times a week for 30 minutes. And once my DVD player problem is fixed I also want to incorporate Pilates back into my routine. I actually miss it.

Because I exercise more regularly, I also pay more attention to my water consumption. I have always had a hard time drinking water. It’s just so – plain. I find that when I add a slice of lemon to my water jug, I enjoy it a lot more and will drink more that way.

I have also mentioned before that I “cleaned” up my baking by incorporating whole wheat flour and a sugar-stevia blend in most of my recipes. I love to bake and my family enjoys the fruits of my labor. They don’t even notice the difference but I feel better knowing that they can enjoy some cookies without having to worry about too much carb or sugar intake.

It seems, we have cleaned up our food act overall. We eat a lot less red meat and more veggies and salads. And thanks to a few recent recipe finds, fish will become a more regular stable on the dinner table again as well.

I feel good knowing that not only am I cleaning up my health but also the health of my family.
