Doesn’t this look just scrumptious? I finally had some time to bake this afternoon. I even had a big helper. Little One took charge of all the mixing and did a really good job. I think, she’ll be the next baker in the house!
I have shared the recipe for this banana bread before.
Today, I changed it up just a bit. I kept the basics the same and did use 4 bananas this time but also added 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, as well as a few extra walnuts sprinkled on top.
These added ingredients really take the loaf to the next level and add just a little extra flavor and texture.
I love that this recipe is quick and easy to prepare. No need for a mixer, just a bowl and wooded spoon will do.
