Follow Friday Four Fill in Fun

August 8, 2013

Just a quick one today. Been fighting a head cold all week, not what I wanted for my last week of camp, but what I got anyways. Seems the kids decided to wage germ warfare on me in the end! This week has been busy and sad at the same time… sad because tomorrow is the last day of camp and busy because we’ve been packing up our two rooms to put everything in storage until next summer.

And while I am sad that the summer is almost over – I am looking forward to a quiet weekend to recuperate and then dive into final preparations for the beginning of school…

Ok, time to fill in some blanks.

Each week, Hilary plans on listing four statements with a blank for us to fill in on our own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me  . If she uses them, she will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Pickles fromPurrfectly Pickles– pickles came up with the last two statements!

I would LOVE it if you could please help Hilary spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:
1) I always _____ texts

2) I love to fall asleep when ____

3) My dream pet would be a ________ named ________.

4) I love _______ more than chocolate. (Or ice cream!!)

My answers:

1) I always answer my texts.

2) I love to fall asleep when it rains.

3) My dream pet would be a tiger named Stripey. 🙂

4) I love my family more than chocolate. (Or ice cream!)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Oh I hope you really do get to recuperate this weekend. Lots of water and rest, my friend!
And I love your fill-ins because I would have answered the same way. Except for a slight change – a white tiger named snow! 😉

White tigers are gorgeous. Thanks for the well wishes… Looking forward to a quiet weekend.

Although, I’ve missed a good portion of spring/summer this year due to illness & surgery, I am more than ready for the heat & humidity to push out of here. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and it can’t come soon enough to suit me.

You & I are spot on with our answers to question 1 & 2. Having a large cat for a pet has appealed to me over the years, but I would be fearful that my nice big kitty would eat me one day. So, I guess I’ll never have one. Oh good answer for number 4, I love my family more than chocolate, too!

Hope you are on the mend now, Cathy. Yes the humidity can get to you. I’m always happy when it starts cooling off a bit.

OK – I have to agree with loving the family more than chocolate – didn’t think of that.

    • Susi August 9, 2013 at 11:01 pm

First thing that popped into my mind. 🙂

Good choice for chocolate. Family love is the best!

      So very true. 🙂

Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon! I always wanted a monkey.

    • Susi August 9, 2013 at 10:59 pm

That would be fun – a monkey to monkey around with.

Rain seems to be the popular answer! Hope you feel better soon.

    • Susi August 9, 2013 at 10:59 pm

Thank you. I guess, the steady rhythm of rain lulls many of us to sleep. Thanks for stopping by.

I always answer too. hubby is always saying “you don’t have to answer”…..but I always think what if it is something important? I mean, you answer your land line when it rings, right? besides, I find if you don’t answer: people call the landline, or facebook msg, or tweet — then suddenly ALL notifications are going off! LOL

    Hope you feel better soon.

    • Susi August 9, 2013 at 10:58 pm

We actually shut our land line off a while ago. But yes, either you keep getting texts and messages, or that guilty conscience rears it’s ugly head.

seems so many of us like to fall asleep to the rain!

    • Susi August 10, 2013 at 10:22 am

It is a natural lullaby! 🙂
