Saturday morning. The sun is streaming in through the blinds and I’m sipping my pumpkin coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. It doesn’t get any better than that. My favorite season by far is “pumpkin” season as I like to call it since fall doesn’t really exist in my part of the world.
If you’ve been around here for a while you know my love of all things pumpkin. My very first blog post was about all things pumpkin spice. And I even did a pumpkin flavored giveaway last year for my 1st blogaversary!!! (Which reminds me that #2 is right around the corner… ) 🙂
Imagine my delight when Dunkin’ Donuts invited me to try and taste their assortment of pumpkin flavored goodies – some are new, some are back again, – for their “pumpkin” season.
So, off I went on Tuesday, to meet up with some other local bloggers at our local Dunkin’ Donuts to see what goodies they had for us to try.
There was lots of yumminess for us to sink our teeth into, from their new breakfast sandwiches, like the Angus Steak Big ‘N Toasted or the Roast Beef Sandwich on a pretzel bun – both were delicious, to the new pumpkin pie donuts – so decadent. Another one of their new sandwiches is a corned beef hash breakfast muffin. This one is available in Palm Beach County only at this time. The sandwiches are tasty and filling – perfect for a good hearty breakfast, enjoyed with a hot cup of pumpkin coffee on the side.
But the fun didn’t stop there. The best part, for me, the person with the biggest sweet tooth ever, were all the baked goodies – the pumpkin donut, pumpkin munchkins, a moist and fluffy pumpkin muffin with icing and streusel topping and the new, and oh so scrumptious pumpkin pie donut with a pumpkin butter cream filling and icing and crushed graham cracker topping.
I also got to try their pumpkin coolatta which I really enjoyed. I’ve never had a one before so it was a real treat and perfect to cool off with on those humid and hot Florida fall days. The iced white chocolate and pumpkin coffee was good but not really to my taste. I much rather have a fresh cup of the Dunkin’ Donuts pumpkin coffee with a bit of cream.
I had such a good time connecting with some new to me local bloggers and trying all things pumpkin and I’ve been enjoying my Dunkin’ Donuts pumpkin coffee in the morning and you can too.
Did you know that Sunday, September 29, 2013 (tomorrow) is National Coffee Day? Yes? No? That’s okay, I didn’t either until Dunkin’ Donuts told me about it.
DUNKIN’ DONUTS is celebrating National Coffee Day by giving you a free coffee, either a small hot or iced coffee, through the Dunkin’ Donuts mobile app, available on both iPhone and Android.
They will also offer packaged coffee for only $5.99 and their 14-count K-Cup® packs for only $7.99 on September 28 and 29, 2013. I will be stopping by my Dunkin’ Donuts store “across” the street for my two packs of K-Cups a.s.a.p. because to my horror, I realized earlier that I am completely OUT of my favorite coffee flavor ever and that just won’t do.
And here’s a little fun fact. Did you know that Dunkin’ Donuts serves the most hot traditional and iced coffee in America, selling more than one billion cups of hot and iced coffee every year? That’s A LOT of coffee.
I hope, you are enjoying your weekend and will stop by your local Dunkin’ Donuts for your free cup of coffee tomorrow.
* I received one pack of Dunkin’ Donuts pumpkin flavored K-Cups and a $25 gift card in exchange for this review but all opinions are 100% my own, as is my absolute love of all things pumpkin!!!
