You know what today is?

It’s NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!!! So walk, no run, to your local Dunkin’ Donuts and get your free small hot or iced coffee. Make sure you have the DD app installed on your phone!!!

While I am enjoying my morning cup of coffee, I’m working on this post showing you what we’ve been up to this past week.

This little girl turned 5 years old. That’s one whole hand and she’s definitely not a baby anymore. She had a little party in school. The kids did the birthday dance for her and then sang “Happy Birthday” before they all dove in and devoured the munchkins I had brought in for them. This is a first for all of us since both my older two have birthdays on school holidays.

I finally gave in and started drinking my favorite coffee of all time – pumpkin flavored. I’ll be enjoying this flavor until Christmas time at least!!! 🙂

Family fun night this week was super duper fun with a few hours spent at one of the new bowling alleys in the area. I never particularly enjoyed bowling and I’m not very good at it but maybe because I’m getting older and I enjoy seeing my kids have fun – it’s fun for me as well. I even got a few spares and strikes.

All that fun we had sure took its toll and my boys both passed out on the couch. It truly is becoming more and more evident that our boy is hubby’s little “mini me”. He even snores like him! 🙂

And then this happened. Yeah, funny guy, photo bombed this nice pic of hubby and I. Grrr…

This little blonde beauty loves her screen time and pretended to work while her “daughter” was watching her and talking her ear off! Sounds very familiar.

We’ve had quite a bit of rain and stormy days but then it turns around and the sun comes out and we get beautiful skies like this. Gotta love Florida!!! I sure do.

9-28 gorgeous Florida day

Have a great week everyone. We are off to our weekly lunch with hubby’s grandma.

I guess you have a Keurig? I keep debating on getting one since it it usually just me here drinking coffee. Do you love yours?

Also I’m curious, what app do you use to make the cute collages with your pictures?

Yes, we do indeed have a Keurig, Sarah. We love it. We actually replaced our first Keurig that we had for about two years with a KitchenAid model and we love that one even more – it has a hot water setting on board for making tea and such. Great device. I use different apps for the collages. Just got an iPhone so still learning what’s what. One of my favorites is photogrid.

You made me want to drink a coffee. 🙂 I mostly drink tea at the moment but sometimes it has to be a coffee. 🙂

I always need to start my day with coffee and then switch over to tea after my second cup!!! 🙂

did you know they have Disco Bowling now?
Seriously, there are flashing lights, disco balls and really loud dance music. while you bowl.
I am sure as a teenager I would have loved this, but now = migraine.
I’ll stick to our Wii version.
No Dunkin Donuts here – and to my knowledge, Tim Hortons never gives their coffee away for free. So I don’t know if I can get those pumpkin flavoured Kcups here: but I will be looking. Trust!

I think, what you are describing is what we did. It was actually pretty fun. Yes, there was definitely a disco ball and also giant screens in the back showing the videos. So fun. 🙂
