October 6, 2013

Looking back at the pictures I captured and shared on Instagram in the past week sure makes me realize that we’ve had some beautiful weather around these parts.

10-6 grandma and the girls

The girls with their great-grandma after our usual Sunday lunch. Little One got another little birthday party out of the deal with some cake, a balloon and a big “Happy Birthday”!

10-6 blue sky

Beautiful weather. See! I could take sky pictures each and ever day and not tire of it.

10-6 a walk with little one

My cute little smiley face. Enjoying one of our afternoon walks and having fun digging in the dirt.

10-6 sunlight

Sunlight through a canopy of leaves. So pretty.

10-6 a walk with middle daughter

Middle daughter enjoying some sunshine after spending much of the week on the couch feeling yucky.

10-6 reflection

Reflection. I love the reflection of the trees and the sky in the lakes in the morning. They are usually smooth as glass and the haze of the morning light just makes everything look so serene.

10-6 little girl reading

I love that I caught this moment last week. One minute she was dancing around, watching TV and the next, the TV was off and I found her reading a book.

10-6 shadow pic

Another thing about morning walks – the shadows. The pooch and I looking a little long. πŸ™‚

10-6 i love fall

Thursday, I took my camera out to take some photos for the Nurture Photography ChallengeΒ and came up with this idea. I used some leaves from a palm font and from the ficus hedge in front of our house. Don’t ya love it? πŸ™‚

10-6 landscape morning scene

Saturday morning. A little on the hot side already but still gorgeous.

10-6 halloween decor

The girls and I got our decorating on today. For some reason, I usually wait until the last minute to decorate for Halloween. We decided that we wanted to enjoy the spookiness a little longer this year!

10-6 sleepy girl

And this was the last shot for tonight. One minute they were dancing around and singing and the next both of them were fast asleep on the couch and the house was quiet, except for the hum of the A/C and the dryer in the background. It’s zero to 60 in reverse.

Here’s a video I shot of the girls last night. This is them, the way they are… sisters.

I hope, you are all enjoying your weekend.

great pictures – but that video!!! Oh my gosh. it was like watching my own 2 girls — they are exactly the same as your two. It must be a sister thing. LOL

I do too. They are always singing, dancing or being dramatic. I love seeing them like this – it’s so nice to see the sibling bond.

It has been busy, some good, some not so good. But I like to look at the good and make the best of it. Part of it is the time of year – always busy, busy, busy from now on until the end of the year. πŸ™‚
