This post has been a long time coming and I’m so sorry for the delay in telling you about these tasty morsels before. I should be ashamed of myself from with-holding something so good from you guys. 🙂
Over the summer I had the chance to review nature’s bakery wholesome fig bars. They sure came in handy as a quick but healthy snack during my busy days working at summer camp.
There are two bars in each packet – the perfect size for little hands. My girls loved the vanilla raspberry flavored ones so much and ate them so fast I never got a picture of them. Good thing we had more than one pack to try.
I couldn’t tell you which one was my absolute favorite, truth be told, I liked them all but if I were forced to pick one, I’d have to say the whole wheat blueberry was a distinct favorite.
Besides enjoying them for a quick snack at camp, I also liked to have one with my afternoon cup of tea, sitting by the pool and relaxing. I have a sweet tooth and love to have a little something sweet in the afternoons. These yummy snacks were perfect. My sweet tooth got a fix and I didn’t have to feel guilty about feeding my body junk. That’s a win-win in my book.
The all natural bars come in seven yummy flavors (with more to come). They are: whole wheat apple cinnamon, whole wheat blueberry, whole wheat peach apricot, whole wheat fig, whole wheat raspberry, vanilla fig, and vanilla raspberry. Really, something for every taste bud and perfect for an on-the-go energy boost.
