Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend! I’m finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and actually started a load of laundry and not blankets, towels or sheets today. And only one louse found in today’s search – big brother and sister are still clear. Fingers crossed that we got spared a major outbreak. I’m dreading sending the kids back to school on Monday for fear they’ll bring the little critters back with them again.

We ate dinner outside again last night and as we were finishing up and sitting around talking I looked up at the sky and saw these streaks of pink in the sky. So of course I had to go to in the backyard and take a quick snapshot and as I glanced between the houses to the front I saw a glimpse of bright orange and pretty much just dashed inside for my camera to snap away. You guys, it was breathtakingly gorgeous – these pictures can’t and don’t do the spectacle nature put on any justice!

The colorful streaks in the sky remind me how poetry is always around us if we pay attention. Thanks so much for sharing these stunning photographs.

Beautiful photos. I have my fingers crossed for you. What a hassle. I got lice once and my poor mother had so much laundry and cleaning to do. Then she took me to a movie since I wasn’t allowed back in school for a day. worked out well for me, not her.
