Stuck in my head {Tuesday Coffee Chat}

November 5, 2013

My lovely friend, Rorybore over at Time out for Mom hosts the Tuesday Coffee Chat where she gives us a prompt and we can write about it on our own blogs and then have a little coffee chat about it. Great way to spend some time together. I’m sorry to say that I always forget to check the prompt and when Tuesday rolls around I never manage to link up.

Today’s prompt is easy and comes right on time, since I had a song stuck in my head all day yesterday.

The prompt:

From the Urban Dictionary

Earworm

A song that sticks in your mind, and will not leave
no matter how much you try.
The best way to get rid of an earworm is to replace it with another. Be prepared to become a jukebox.
worst examples: “Mmmbop” by Hanson, “Toxic” by Britney Spears, “Quit Playin Games With My Heart” by Backstreet Boys, “This Love” Maroon 5, “Hey Ya” Outkast, “Memory” Sugarcult, and any Lauryn Hill song.
We’ve all been there for sure. Just yesterday, a song I haven’t heard in ages but used to listen to quite a bit in my “younger” years, got stuck in my head and just replayed over and over again on repeat.
It was this little gem →

And now, I will have it stuck in my head again all day today! You, too? You’re welcome!!! 🙂

LOL — I remember that one! haha
I used to love that one because Fred raps much slower and you could learn all the words and actually sing along.
Will, I will be doing today! 🙂
Thanks for linking up — join whenever you can . no worries.

The worst song for getting stuck in my head is We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift. I don’t even like it, but I hear it in a shop once and there it is, in my brain for the rest of the day. Aaargh!

Last Christmas by Wham is another one… hear it once, listen to it repeat inside your head for HOURS!

Oh, yes, that’s a good one. Luckily, I don’t mind Taylor Swift too much.

Interesting ‘choice’ of earworms…, but I can go with Limp Bizkit 😉
