Snapshot Sunday #7

February 16, 2014

This past week was a busy one with all the preparation and parties for Valentine’s Day.The girls both had their parties on Thursday since we didn’t have any school on Friday (or Monday, yay, for 4 day weekends). I thought, it would be fun to make home-made Valentines a la Pinterest for a change and while they came out cute and everyone loved them, I still have cramped hands from all the cutting and glueing! The things we do for our littles! 🙂
The weather in our neck of the woods has been glorious, especially the past few days and we enjoyed the blue sky and sunshine by having lunch next to the ocean yesterday…
The girls got a little Valentine’s Day present from Claire’s – matching owl necklaces (big sis and little sis) – they’re adorable just like the girls.
On Friday, I took both the girls to the doctor – Ally has a sinus infection and Ash an ear infection – and while we were waiting for the prescriptions to be filled they played with the blood pressure machine at Publix!
My mom surprised me with an old picture of the two of us – I love it and still remember where it was taken. Looking at it makes me realize how important it is for us moms to get in the picture! These moments and memories are important! (So, please, get in the picture and use #focusonmom!!!)
The girls and I also went to the movies last Sunday after our weekend trip to my mom’s – The Lego Movie was cute and the girls loved it.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Have a wonderful week! Stay safe and warm out there!!!

The owl necklaces are so cute! My girls have matching Hello Kitty ones. somewhere.
My fingers finally have feeling again after the glue gun burns healed — but everyone loved their home-made valentines – we basically just had them with us and handed them out to whoever! – so that definitely made it worth it.
The boy has been talking about the Lego Movie Non Stop. I will need a bigger house if he also wants all the new kits.

Oh boy, didn’t even think of that… my boy is past that stage for sure! But he still has two big boxes full of Legos under his bed. I’ve been trying to get him to sort them so we can donate some but he isn’t quite ready for that yet.
