Since I didn’t post my snapshots last week I decided to make it a little easier and throw a few of them together in a gallery with captions for each IG image. If you feel so inclined click on an image and a slideshow will open up…
Hope you enjoy!
Have a great week everyone!!!
I felt like baking and tried to come up with something I hadn’t made before and voila, these Nutella Surprise Muffins were born. The boy LOVES them!
Even sick, middle looks great. Whos says you can’t look good when you are home bound and sick?
A beautiful sunset on the way home from Mother’s Day dinner last Sunday.
The girls and I stopped at Starbucks on Tuesday afternoon while we had to wait for big brother to finish with Robotics. We hadn’t gone in a few weeks so this was a nice little treat.
As per middle’s request I made her these simple sesame noodles from my Pioneerwoman cookbook. She loved them and we think they are delicious too. 🙂
Finn loves to nap on the window sill of our bedroom window and sun herself. She prefers it when the curtains are closed and she can hide behind them.
While I was cleaning the kids’ bathroom yesterday, I listened to little one play with her dolls. I love her imagination and it’s so funny to listen to her make up all these different scenerios…
Another thing I made yesterday – chicken salad with left over chicken. This batch has a bit of a smokey flavor to it. Something a little different but still delicious.
Big kid. Little kid. They are so cute together and I love watching them interact. When I took this picture, I was struck by their size difference. Little sister really looks so tiny next to her big brother. 🙂
Little one and I at her Mother’s Day tea last week. It was so beautiful and most of us mom’s cried at one point or another. These kids are just amazing and I hope they will stay together for a long time to come.
Grandma playing a round of ping-pong. The girls and I had lunch with her a few Sundays ago and she was in a fantastic mood and totally lucid. Unfortunately, these moments come only few and far between and many Sundays she doesn’t really grasp what’s going on anymore. So I particularly treasured that day! I’m glad I caught her on video so we can always look back on this day. 🙂
Hubby and I went out on an unexpected date last Saturday. We checked out a new to us movie theater – iPic – and saw Spiderman 2. We had a great time.
Some bubble fun was had at a friend’s babyshower and I managed to catch one on camera.
My beautiful Mother’s Day roses. They made me smile.
I love how much middle wants to learn and contribute in the kitchen. She already knows how to prep and cook quite a few things. Here she was attempting to make pancakes. The first one came out great and then she thought she actually turned the heat down a bit but didn’t realize that she turned it way high and wouldn’t tell me – until I smelled a suspicious burning smell. Let’s just say we didnt have pancakes for breakfast that morning!
Hubby and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary the beginning of May and I posted this picture from our wedding in honor of that special day!
