Snapshot Sunday {July 6, 2014}

July 5, 2014

So much going on around here and yet, nothing at all. Things are the same – work, camp, life – big moments and little moments and all the in-between. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Blogging, as usual, is taking a backseat to that life, these moments and I’m okay with that. It took me a while to get here and I still miss being in the thick of it but I’m finally easing up on myself. I know, I can’t do it all, even if I wish I could. If only there was more time in each day, then maybe I could have more time to do all the things I want to do. But instead of letting it pressure me, I’m trying to relax more and let things happen as they come.

And while blogging has taken a hit, you can still find me on Instagram or Facebook!!!

Here’s a look back at the last two weeks or so…

(Click on an image to open the slideshow and see the captions for each! Enjoy!!!)

Hope everyone enjoyed this long weekend! I wish all of you a great week!!!

      Thanks, Katrin! I think they are adorable too. I never wanted rodents in the house and now we have guinea pigs, a hamster and a gerbil and I love them all!!! Go figure. 🙂

    I have found that I am using Facebook more often and blogging is not happening so much. I think we go through stages or seasons in life, and I am happy we have so many different options to keep in touch and share with people.

      Karen, I’m happy about that too. And blogging has changed for me – it’s gone from trying to make a side income with it to a hobby. Working full time does that.

    I know exactly how you feel about blogging and not enough time: If a voluntary chore becomes a struggle, you should cut back. Good for you that you are learning to relax. I think I may need to do a few more changes, cut backs and relax more. Relaxing in my case, obviously means really working on photos 🙂

      Claudia, I just finally decided that it’s stupid for me to worry so much about blogging etc. I want to read good books, play with my camera and edit photos and just enjoy! Blogging can take over your life if you let it. I want to try to post more edits, like you do. Nothing crazy or fancy… just fun!!! 🙂

    I’m finally back to having Wifi!! I did it! A whole 9 days unplugged and connected to nothing but the fresh air.
    OMG — I’ve missed everyone! LOL
    But so nice that I can just pop on over and get caught up via your lovely photographs! 🙂

      I would love a total break right about now. This summer has been so busy – no rest for the wicked! But like you I would miss everyone too. 🙂
