    is that a white tiger?!!! oh my gosh.. he’s gorgeous.
    And hey — you’re holding a big snake!! very cool. my kids love going to these things. I hope we can fit a zoo trip of our own in this summer.

      That is a Bengal Tiger. He was gorgeous and huge. But my favorite was definitely the Liger! (In the middle) There are only 40 of them in existence and Leeloo is one of them! The snake is a baby rock python – they get huge too. 🙂 This place is an animal sanctuary and literally in someone’s backyard. All the animals are rescues and most have very interesting stories.

    What a fun trip that must have been. The zoo here in Austin is actually a rescue zoo. It has a hodge podge of animals, but it’s so nice to know that they’re somewhere safe now.

      I like these types of places the best, knowing that the animals were rescued from a worse fate!

      This one was a baby – it’s usually not my thing — at ALL!!! 🙂
