Ipsy Glam Bags – October/November 2014

November 20, 2014

I looked at the calendar today – in passing – and actually did a double-take when I looked at the date. People, it’s already November 20th. Where in the world did this year go? I can’t believe we only have about 6 weeks left in 2014 and then it’s on to a new year. Sometimes, it seems like yesterday that I started working at the kids school, when in reality, I’ve been there almost a year now. A whole freakin’ year!

Yes, yes, yes, time truly does fly! Especially when you are having fun.

I never got around to posting last month’s ipsy bag so I decided to show you both, the October and November bag.

I actually kept most of the goodies from the October bag for myself. Middle was not too interested and I snatched the lip gloss before she had a chance to. Really, really love this lip gloss and may actually shell out the money for a full size version. I’ve been wearing it pretty much daily ever since I got it. It just has what I need and want in a lip gloss. It’s not too bright, not too sticky, leaves my lips feeling soft and smells good on top of it. Love it, I tell you!

The November bag pretty much went to the girls. Little one laid claim to the bag the second she laid eyes on it. All the things that sparkle! That’s her motto. I like the hairspray a lot and tried the eye liner – not 100% sure about that one, it’s creamy and goes on so smooth but it’s also very sparkly. I tried the under eye concealer this morning and was very happy with it.

So I guess, maybe, we should say that we shared this bag between the three of us! 🙂

What do you think?

Do you Ipsy? I’d love to know your favorite make-up product. The one you can’t live without.

Have a great day everyone!

xoxo, Susi

that hairspray is great — I have trial size like that I keep in my purse. I would love to do something like this!
My favourite make up accessory is by Benefit and it’s called Oh La Lift — it’s a cream for under the eye. not really a cover up per say: more like a highlighter so that it just instantly brightens your eye. It’s pink too – so your girls would love it! My 2nd one is also by Benefit and it’s their cheek and lip stain called Benetint – it’s amazing and has a soft rose scent.

I love the hairspray – it really holds the hair in place but is not sticky at all. I never heard of the Benefit brand and will have to research it! I always like to hear what people’s go to products are – I really use minimal make-up on a day to day basis but like playing around with different looks from time to time. Nothing to outrageous, I leave that to more adventurous people. 🙂

The red lip product in the tube looks like the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics lip tars! And I love those! So many beautiful colors!

It’s J. Cat Beauty Wonder Lips Paint and it’s a little dark for me but middle daughter loves it. She loves dark, bold colors but I don’t let her out of the house with it on… She’s only 11 after all. 🙂
