Fill in fun and randomness

December 12, 2014

You guys, can I tell you something? I love clicking on that little “visit site” button when I open my dashboard. I really love the look of my blog right now… I hope, it lasts for a while. πŸ™‚

One week closer to Winter break and I cannot wait. This past week was a little tough since I’ve been dealing with a bit of a head cold and a fuzzy mind because of it. I made it through the week and just want to relax now.

I’m hoping to put up some outside decorations this weekend too. We’ll see. There’s always so much to do and so little time. And hubby’s company Christmas party is tomorrow night – so I have to stop somewhere to find something to wear! Yay me. Just kidding. I’m actually a lit excited to find something pretty to wear. It may be a bit challenging to find something that will keep me warm but that I can also wear when our normal Florida weather returns. I’m thinking layers.

The sky was kinda funky here today. Funky and cool! And yes, I took a picture.

Okay, my mind’s going fuzzy again and wandering off in a million different directions.

Let’s just cut to the chase and join Hilary for some fill in fun!

The statements:

  1. I can’t believe ____
  2. ___ is my favorite ____
  3. If I could _____ I would be _____
  4. December is _____

My answers:

  1. I can’t believe that there are only 2 1/2 weeks left in this year. I know, I always say that this time of year. But this year just flew by without a second glance.Β
  2. Saturday is my favorite day to sleep in. Oh, who am I kidding. I’d sleep in any day if I could!Β
  3. If I could write I would be an author, maybe.
  4. December is a very hectic and stressful month. As much as I love the holidays, decorating the house and sitting by the twinkling lights of the tree, I am not a big fan of some aspects of it!

Feeling Beachie
Hope you all have an awesome, super duper weekend and get to relax a bit!!!

I love the way your blog looks as well! And yes to “what the heck happened to 2014?” – I have no idea how it went by so fast πŸ™‚ I hope you feel better soon and have fun tonight (and you know that a luke-warm beer will cure any head cold, right? Old Bavarian recipe πŸ˜‰ )

I didn’t know that. I’ll have to see if I can stomach luke-warm beer. I really prefer it cold. But if this doesn’t get better I will totally give it a try. I’d like to feel normal again. πŸ™‚

Your blog looks great! And I hope you found something nice to wear! I will go shopping next week and I am a bit excited! Love the way those clouds look. Great picture! Hope you are feeling better!

Thanks. Still a little funny feeling in the head, but when is that not the case? πŸ™‚ I did find something nice to wear – too many things actually and ended up with two dresses, a new pair of jeans and a cute sweater. Need to do a haul post soon!

I love the new look, but then again I always love the look and feel of your blog!

I so agree about December. It makes me sad that the stress and chaos take away from the love. So many are sad and alone…and forgotten.

    • Susi December 14, 2014 at 10:23 pm

That is so very true and I’m trying to figure out ways that will make the stress be less of a part of it. Hopefully, it can just be a lovely time…

I slept in twice this week! well, technically I got up and got the kids ready for school, then cleaned the kitchen from breakfast, then put in some laundry – and then I went for a nap. but I ended up sleeping right through lunch!
Great shot!! I love wispy clouds.
And I think you can be a writer.

Good for you! I don’t have that luxury anymore and miss it sometimes. I could have slept and napped most of today after last nights party. We stayed out way past our bed time. πŸ™‚

It’s fun to stay up past bedtime some nights! we get out so rarely. it does hurt the next day dealing with the kids though. And the site does look great! πŸ™‚

Yes, yes it it. And lucky me, since ,my kids are a bit older, I get to sleep in the day after too. πŸ™‚
