A seagull and the first fill ins of the year

January 2, 2015

This seagull has nothing to do with this post. I just cannot publish a post without a picture in it. And this little guy was so good and stayed still for me for so long…

First Friday of the new year and Hilary is back with her Follow Friday Fill in Fun! She posts four statements with blanks. We fill in those blanks and link up and then hop from blog to blog to see what everyone else came up with! It’s really quite simple, yet loads of fun!

Here are this week’s statements:

  1. What would you do if______
  2. When the____, how do you handle it?
  3. I haven’t seen_______.
  4. Do you think you could ever____

My answers:

  1. What would you do if you had one week to do whatever you want… no chores, no commitments, no kids… just YOU!
  2. When the kids don’t listen, how do you handle it?
  3. I haven’t seen a musical or other type of theatre show since I was a teenager. I loved Westside Story!
  4. Do you think you could ever give up blogging?

My first fill ins of the new year. Now it’s your turn. I’d love to know what you would fill in the blanks with. Either leave a comment or better yet, play along!

Happy New Year to you too, Judy! Thanks for stopping by.

Not sure if I’ll get around to The4 this time. Because, while I am not giving up blogging, I am reducing it somewhat right now.
#1 sounds like fun, I would have no problem doing ‘my things’ only. In fact I get pretty close to that when David is on a business trip, except for my day job.
    Have a nice weekend!

Yeah, I hear you. Other than the quick project 365 post everyday, I’m not going to have too much time once we go back to school/work tomorrow. 🙁

I don’t think I could give up blogging

Me neither. That’s why I’m still at it!!! 🙂

An entire week??!! Oh my…. my brain literally froze in thought. I can’t even imagine. Let’s just say, I’d probably try to do it ALL!! Or, nothing at all. I guess the point is: it’s all my own choice. I think there would be a lot of reading though.
My kids get a count of 3 to come to their senses: and then there’s a consequence. And that depends on the scenario. Say they are supposed to pick up toys and they don’t? Fine, mommy will pick them up …. and…. drops them in the donate box, or garbage. easy peasy.
I love live shows. I have not been to see one in years. One of my faves was always Les Mis.
Nope. can’t see myself giving up blogging. not completely. There may be a slow down this year, but I’ll still be here.
LOVE the seagull. Yes – a photo with every post. 🙂

I’m ready to do the box/garbage routine with my two oldest. The little one is not the worst even though she has all the toys!
