66/365 to 69/365 Catching up…

March 10, 2015

As always, just because I was too busy and tired to post my project 365 pics each day, doesn’t mean I didn’t take any. Really, rarely a day goes by these days where I don’t snap a quick shot of something that I find picture worthy. It’s been a few busy days around here… On Saturday, we spent the day at Spring Fling, our school’s annual fine arts festival. It’s always a day I enjoy. There are many more photos I want to share but I chose this one because it truly shows her joy that day. She couldn’t wait for it to get here and soaked in every minute.

On Monday, I had to run some errands for the lab and at Home Depot I saw this awesome garden decor. I will have to go back on my own time and get a few things. It is after all time for my yearly spruce up of the front yard.

The two oldest with their heads together, playing trivia crack. Definitely a picture worthy moment as their only mode of communications these days is sniping at each other and pointing fingers. Teens and Tweens, what can I say? One thing’s for sure – parenting can be damn hard sometimes.

Tonight, we had a special dinner with our littlest girl, since for tonight only, she is an only child.  Both big sister and brother are on over-night field trips. One in the woods of West Florida and one in Washington, D.C. And there’s nothing she likes better than to share a big Caesar salad with her daddy – hold the anchovies. Dinner was fabulous.

I’m off to bed now, since I got very little sleep last night. I had to drop the boy and his friend off at school at 2:00 AM in the morning. I tried to sleep a little before, but was afraid to miss the alarm and had a hard time falling back to sleep after… So up yeah, today was a coffee drip kind of day!

Hope you are all doing great!

xoxo, Susi

I don’t know exactly what the blue glass ball things are in the garden shot, but I have a mighty need for them nonetheless! ha.
and yes, my two oldest as well. like cats and dogs. and then there is the deceiving calm before the storm: and mine are not even tweens and teens yet!
hope you catch on some rest!

The balls in the garden stakes light up at night. Some even change colors. My mom has a few and it looks so pretty once it’s dark.
