Wednesday was the official last day of school for the big kids. Little One has been on corporate care for the week since I didn’t have my last day until today. We decided to side braid her hair to look like Elsa. The length isn’t quite there yet but we are getting there.
These two have been amazing. They cleaned all fthe recycle bins on campus and by cleaned, I mean scrubbed them out with soap and water and elbow grease. They also helped clean out the lockers on the high school side. And found a few goodies along the way. Don’t you just love those shoes?
And that bowl? It was a little end of year gift from my friend and science department head. A Marquis by Waterford bowl. Made in Germany!
And today… I took care of a few more things and made sure the lab is ready for camp on Monday. Then we had our end of year faculty luncheon which is always fun. Isn’t my table art cute? (Upper right corner.)
For dinner, hubby took me to a new to us restaurant that we’ve been meaning to try. So good. I had frog legs… and German Doppelbock beer. It was great. Plus, we had friends join us after a while and it turned into a fun few hours talking! All in all a good week.
The school year is officially behind me and tomorrow will mark the start of camp! So looking forward to it.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
