Last weekend was basically a wash for me in as far as weekends are for taking care of chores around the house, grocery shopping and some relaxing… I did none of those things because I was not home all weekend. It was the last off-season competition event for our robotics team and as alternate coach and team mom, I have the pleasure of chaperoning. Even though I “lost” my weekend and we got back to town super late Sunday night, I wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I love being so close to the action and sharing this with my boy. But I am happy that we now have a break from traveling for the next few months and I was able to get some things done around the house this weekend. As soon as I’m done with this post, it’s time to head to the mall for homecoming outfits for Conner and Ash. Wish me luck!!!
This week’s project 365 recap is biweekly due to the above mentioned “lost weekend”.
Day 278: Can you spot the kitty? Finn decided to snuggle with Cotton Candy and Ally’s fluffy blanket as soon as the seat was empty. No one dares to ask her to move. 🙂
Day 279: Gluten free pumpkin muffins from Trader Joe’s taste even better with a topping of pumpkin greek yogurt. A great mid-afternoon treat.
Day 280: It’s fall in Florida. The sky is going all dramatic on us.
Day 281: Nothing brightens my day than a bouquet of fall blooms and my new owl salt and peeper shakers.
Day 282: On the road. The sunset was spectacular Friday evening. This shot was taken just before the oranges and red took over.
Day 283: After a long day at competition, surrounded by many, many people, I went in search of some solitude and a PSL. I found both close to the hotel and enjoyed every last drop.
Day 284: On Sunday I missed being home with my family. Looking through photos always helps and this shot of our little fashion diva made me smile.
Day 285: Ash had to stop by the library for some selfie fun. And yes, it was a homework assignment.
Day 286: Sometimes I feel like such a scientist, especially when I have to make things like respirometers.
Day 287: Rainbows are just so magical. No matter how often I see one…
Day 288: A waxing crescent moon. It looked so pretty sitting above that palm tree.
Day 289: Blue skies, palm trees swaying in a gentle breeze and no oppressive humidity… Is it any wonder that I love Fall?
Day 290: A perfect way to start the day – with brunch outside, reading a good book and watching a little girl splash in the pool.
Day 291: Coloring is fun at any age. Even though it’s not the same as coloring with a pencil, it was still relaxing to “color” on the iPad.

Hope you all have a great week! I’m off to find some fancy clothes for my two oldest.
