Project 365: Day 278 to Day 291 {biweekly wrap up}

October 18, 2015

Last weekend was basically a wash for me in as far as weekends are for taking care of chores around the house, grocery shopping and some relaxing… I did none of those things because I was not home all weekend. It was the last off-season competition event for our robotics team and as alternate coach and team mom, I have the pleasure of chaperoning. Even though I “lost” my weekend and we got back to town super late Sunday night, I wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I love being so close to the action and sharing this with my boy. But I am happy that we now have a break from traveling for the next few months and I was able to get some things done around the house this weekend. As soon as I’m done with this post, it’s time to head to the mall for homecoming outfits for Conner and Ash. Wish me luck!!!

This week’s project 365 recap is biweekly due to the above mentioned “lost weekend”.

Hope you all have a great week! I’m off to find some fancy clothes for my two oldest.

    Beautiful pics. Love the rainbow and, of course, the clouds. I hope you get to relax a little more now.
    I knew I had seen the ‘adult coloring pages’ somewhere in my blogosphere – it was you who is doing that 🙂 I got so much back into drawing, it is unbelievable. But so relaxing.

      It truly is relaxing and even 5 minutes are enough to put me in a better mood. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and doodling but somewhere along the way it took a backseat like so many other things. Motherhood and life do that, but now that the kids are older and more self sufficient I can dabble in some of these fun things again. As far as work and my schedule let me. 🙂

    Love that turtle colouring you did! it would be a great art piece framed. something very personal and unique.
    busy times these days. I have barely stopped to breathe myself, and I do believe I have probably missed the most colourful days of Fall, as the other night a storm blew in and knocked most of the glorious leaves to the ground. I might get out one day and see what I can find. and just maybe find a Starbuck’s for a few quiet moments myself.

      Judging by the post I read on your blog today, I’d say you were able to capture some of this fall color just fine. 🙂 It’s one of the things I do miss from living in Germany. But the weather has been nice here and we’ve been enjoying the cooler temps and less humidity. 🙂
