Project 365: Day 299 – Day 305 {Halloween Fun}

November 1, 2015

Day 299: The girls got henna tattoos at Trunk or Treat last Sunday and showed off their darkened pieces of art Monday morning. They lasted a good week. Middle still has most of her big one. She wants her own henna now and learn how to do it.

Day 300: Most afternoons after school Ash falls asleep in the car on the way home. Being a tween is tough.

 Day 301: Lots and lots of pumpkins. These were all precarved so we could use them for our yearly pumpkin  exploding fun. Yes, science can be lots of fun.
  Day 302: Mother-daughter selfie at her 1st grade Halloween party. She’s not wearing her costume because of a field trip her class was on. But she did wear it for the parade in the morning.

 Day 303: Another mother-daughter selfie but this one with the other daughter after we both got our nails done. I was off on Friday and it was glorious. πŸ™‚
Day 304: A little Halloween collage because picking just one photo is impossible. Harley Quinn, the Ninja Turtles and the Penguin had a spooky good time and came home with way too much candy.

  Day 305: Ash couldn’t wait to get her hair cut this weekend. She is done with dance for now and doesn’t have to worry about keeping her hair long enough for a high ponytail. So snip, snip it went. She was grinnning the whole time the stylist worked on her hair – I’d say that’s a good indication of how much she loves it. I love it too.
Another week gone by and the beginning of a new month. A month closer to the end of the year and to reaching my goal of finishing my project 365. I may not have posted a picture everyday but I do have a photo for each and every day so far.

Hope everyone is doing well.

xoxo, Susi

    I love her little Harley Quinn costume — it’s so cute! I was thinking that for next year.
    And now I really want a henna tattoo also! I bet your daughter could learn very easily – she’s so talented and artistic that way.

    Exploding pumpkins? I gotta see that! πŸ™‚

      I’ll post a video of the exploding pumpkins on FB later today. Keep meaning too and forgetting. It’s a lot of fun and a highlight each year. πŸ™‚ Ally was adorable as Harley Quinn – the sass is totally there.
