Project 365: Day 306 – Day 312 {weekly recap}

November 12, 2015

Day 306: My two posers. Give them an interesting background or place and they’ll happily pose for hours.

Day 307: I took a trip down memory lane on Tuesday. I found a pile of old greetings cards from my “Jugendweihe” (a coming of age celebration in Germany) when we were putting Halloween decorations away. It was bittersweet.

Day 308: Coming home to a nice warm bowl of chili after a long day at work is pretty awesome. Hubby cooks most nights and for that I’m grateful.

Day 309: A little look back at a few years ago for this Throwback Thursday. Can’t believe how much my boy has changed in the last three years. He looks so little here.

Day 310: Star fruit. Have you ever tried it? It’s really good and so refreshing. How lucky that my friend happens to have a starfruit tree in her backyard. ๐Ÿ™‚

Day 311: Our snuggly Finn. I wanted nothing more than to  join her on that couch on Saturday but alas, the chores couldn’t wait. I loved the contrast of the red pillow and blanket  and her black fur.

Day 312: Sunday night is cold cut platter night – usually. This one was a beauty, if I do say so myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

 This weekly recap is a little late but that’s what life looks like around these parts lately. Hope everyone is doing alright! Talk soon…

xoxo, Susi

    That is one beautiful cold cuts platter – yum – good German heritage ๐Ÿ™‚
    I like starfruit, but I have never seen the actual tree.

      I’ll ask my friend to take a pic of hers so I can share it. This is the first year it’s actually bearing fruit.
      And yes, my German definitely comes out with cold cut platters and food. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    A beautiful setting for your beautiful girls! Mine would pose for hours too.
    Is that boursin cheese I spy?? mmmmmmm – we LOVE that. My 2 girlfriends and I polished off an entire one today after ice skating for a couple of hours. So good.
    I love doing platters like that too in place of a big meal. My kids call is a “Snack Party.” LOL

      Yes, a snack party! That’s what it is and yes, that is Boursin, my boy can devour a whole one by himself. He loves that stuff. And ice skating sounds fun. I’m a bit scared to get back on the ice after the bad fall I took a while back. I hit my bad knee so hard and screwed it up even more. Ugh… I guess, I’ll stick to snorkeling in the ocean.
