Project 365: Day 313 to Day 319 {weekly recap}

November 17, 2015

Day 313:

Monday. After the guinea pigs were adopted by a sweet family, we welcomed Cheech to our family of lab pets. He’s the cutest little thing. This is my first experience with a chinchilla. He’s so soft and cuddly and I love watching him. I do think, that the lab will only be a temporary home for him. I’m going to do my best to find him a new family who will care for him and love him and give him all that he needs.

Day 314:

Tuesday. Snuggling with my little Gracie. My shadow. She gets so excited when I come home in the afternoons/evenings. She loves this specific red blanket. It’s super soft and snuggly. I carried her around like a baby in it.

Day 315:

Wednesday. Our 60-gallon fish tank. I love it. It’s so relaxing to watch the fish swim about. I added two bala sharks and a rainbow shark to the tank just the other day. So far everyone is getting along. Today (Saturday), they will get their weekly treat of bloodworms. You should see the feeding frenzy when I give them those.

Day 316:

Thursday. Another Cheech pic. He had a dustbath. It was so funny to watch him. He seemed to really enjoy that a lot and kept rolling around in it.

Day 317:

Friday. Oh, you know, just hanging around in a palm tree. Ally and I were waiting for Ash so we could go home after both girls stayed at school until 6 last night. Ally for a reading rodeo and Ash to start working on her make-up presentation for the upcoming Thespian competition.

Day 318:

Saturday. I love the holiday lights popping up all around town. It’s one of my favorite things about the holiday season.

Day 319:

Sunday. We are a family of tech junkies. An hour is not long enough to “play” at Best Buy. Here, Ash tried out the Samsug Oculus VR and totally loved it. So did the boy and hubby. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any in stock so no new toy for us that day. But maybe soon.

Hope everyone is having a good week. So far so good for me. I got some very exciting news yesterday. I will share soon, promise.

xoxo, Susi

Your aquarium is my aquarium goals. It’s so pretty – I wish I had room for a big 60 gallon. And that we could donate the boring goldfish! I want pretty colourful fish too.

A palm tree to decorate would be pretty nice too. 🙂

You never know. I didn’t think we’d ever have a big tank like this and yet, now we do. 🙂

The Ocolus VR I am foreseeing one of those in the not too distant future in this techy househole, too. Christmas! It is still a little early for the lights, I think, but soon.
Cheech after its dustbath – that is just too adorable.
p.s. your hair got long, I haven’t seen a pic of you in a while, I guess 🙂

I’ve been letting grow because i felt like something different. Not sure what I want to do with it yet. We tried buying the Oculus VR on Friday when it came out and it was already sold out! It’s a hot item.
