Day 334. Monday. Got myself some decal “bling” for my MacBook. I love it sooooooo much. The MacBook (thanks to my hubby, who spoils me.) and the decal.
Tuesday. Day 335. This face. This girl. She had her Winter concert that evening and it was lovely to see all the little ones dressed up and singing their hearts out.
Day 336. Wednesday. A little Christmas tree bokeh. There is something about the lights at Christmas time. Love.
Day 337. Thursday. Gracie loves Christmas time too, especially the soft, fluffy tree skirt. A perfect spot for a little nap.
Day 338. Friday. That bus that’s pulling out was filled to the brim with our varsity football team and coaches on their way to Orlando’s Citrus Bowl for the state championship game. Unfortunately, our boys were demolished by the state’s highest ranked team, same as last year.
Day 339. Saturday. We’ve had a lot of rain the past few days and our backyard turned into a little pond. It could have been a lot worse and thankfully the rain mostly stopped today. The kids were hoping for some more rain so the school grounds would flood and we could have a three-day weekend. I’m kind of happy that didn’t happen as I have lots to do at work this week.
Day 340. Sunday. Today, we not only celebrated “Nikolaus Tag” but also the first night of Hanukkah. I stood in line for 40 minutes to get some deliciousness for dinner… We had corned beef, pastrami, matzo ball soup, latkes and the most delicious cole slaw. We do this to keep the kids’ family heritage alive even though we don’t practice the religious part of Judaism.
I’m counting down the days to our first family trip in forever. We are all so very excited to spend a week in New York over the Christmas holiday. Just two more weeks of school and then we are off for the Christmas/Winter break. I’m sooooo looking forward to it.
Have a great week friends!!!
