The first post for 2016 will have to be my wrap-up of my 2015 Project 365. Between traveling to New York for the holidays (what a fabulous trip) and then coming home to a pet emergency, the last few days of 2015 were a bit hectic and worrisome.
I’m looking forward to what 2016 has in store for me and completing another Project 365. I may have had to catch-up a few days here and there but overall I think I did pretty good. The only “rule” I set for myself was to use a photo that had to be taken that day. Other than that, I just posted whatever I felt like posting. No real rhyme or reason. For 2016 I want to go with a bit of a theme. More on that in a few days. Hope you will stay tuned!
So here is a look at the last 10 days of my 2015 Project 365!
Ash taking selfies with the selfie stick while I’m trying to pack for our trip.
A walk on the boardwalk in Atlantic Beach, NY. A bit different then what this Florida girl is used to.
The old rail road tracks in the walk way of the Highline. Really loved walking there and so did Ally.
Christmas Eve with dear friends and their big Italian family and Santa. A truly special day.
Pit stop at Central Park Zoo and a quiet corner for a quick snapshot of my loves.
Ally and Ash on top of the world, well, the Empire State Building. Luckily, we chose the one clear day to go up to the top.
At the Museum of Natural History touch a meteoroid. Silly girls.
Sisters, after Ally’s first time at Build-a-Bear workshop. She made herself an Elsa bear.
The boy turned 15 once we returned home to Florida. As much as he’s grown and changed the past few years, one thing has remained constant – he always gets a chocolate birthday cake.
Tea is my comfort drink. At the end of a long rough day nothing better than a nice hot cup of tea.
A little photo editing fun for the last day of the year with wishes for a Happy New Year! 2016 here we come.
Happy and healthy New Year to all of you!
