Three day quote challenge: Day 2

March 9, 2016

I have been nominated by one of my favorite bloggers and also one of my first bloggy friends Leslie who shares inspiring words, amazing pics and the occasional craft on her blog “Ink Interrupted”, to participate in the “Three Day Quote Challenge“. The rules of the challenge are simple. They are as follows:

1. Post for three consecutive days.
2. Choose and share one or three quotes each day.
3. Challenge three additional bloggers each day.

I will take a page out of her book and nominate three bloggers at the end of my three-day tenure, instead of each day. But please, feel free to do your own quote challenge if you so please. :)

Today’s quote is about about one of my favorite photography subjects – nature. Leslie’s wish is my command and this one comes to you layered over a pretty sunset.

nature quote - sunset

This sunset shot was taken at one of my favorite sunset spots ever… Ft. Myers Beach, the Gulf of Mexico. It’s never the same, but always amazing and I have to go at least once a year to see the sun sink into the ocean.

Another one of my favorite nature quotes which I saw recently and just found out is by Vincent Van Gogh goes something like this:

“If you truly love nature, you’ll find beauty everywhere.” – Vincent Van Gogh

I love nature, I love photographing it. I love being in it, I love observing it… And yes, I will stop randomly to take pictures or point things out and my kids will just shake their heads at me and mumble. I hope, that one day they will appreciate it as much as I do.

xoxo, Susi

I love being out in nature! It is by far one of the best forms of therapy next to writing I think.

    Beautiful post!

I agree. I would prefer to be outside any time of day then spent my days in a lab. But that’s the way it goes. 🙂

    My aesthetic!! LOVE it.
One of my favourite Nature quotes is by Wordsworth “Nature never betrayed the heart that loved her.”
And it’s true, the sun rises and sets every day. Sometimes it feels like it’s just for those of us who notice it’s beauty. 🙂
