“Every day may not be good… but there’s one good thing in every day!” ~Alice Morse Earle
I welcome you to my new project 365 and weekly link up #onegoodthing. My friends Claudia and Leslie have agreed to help me host the link-up which goes live each Monday (well, actually Sunday night around 11 pm if you want to be exact) and we would love for you to link up and share your #onegoodthing with us and our readers. It can be anything good that day, week, month… a photo, an anecdote, a poem. There are no rules, just goodness and hopefully smiles along the way.
Today just a quick look back at my good things from last week via a collage. I’ve been traveling with the robotics team since Wednesday and did’t get home until about 12:30 am this morning, add the time change to the mix and my mode has been near zombie all day. I’m ready to crash and get some rest…
The photos are in order from top left to bottom middle.
Monday. Day 67. We made a quick, unexpected pit stop at the new house (always a good thing) and “Rupert” greeted us, waiting for some food.
Tuesday. Day 68. I was happy that I managed to blog my posts for the 3 day quote challenge. I love quotes so this was right up my alley.
Wednesday. Day 69. After we arrived in Orlando, I had a few hours quiet time in the hotel. So great to sit and relax. I never did get started on the book though, watching HGTV was so much more entertaining…
Thursday. Day 70. One of the major bonuses of going on the robotics trips as a chaperone – the time I get to spend with my boy. He made me laugh so much.
Friday. Day 71. Hotel living always messes with my sinuses and I had a killer headache most of the day. Combine that with a very loud arena and it’s not a good combo. Luckily, there was a Starbucks right inside the Barnes and Nobles next door. Perfect spot for some quiet time and relaxing.
Saturday. Day 72. I got to pin on the media badge for a bit during the competition so I would have access to the playing field for some awesome action shots and video footage of the competition. It’s a blast.
Sunday. Day 73. My littlest angel got sick while I was away. Getting the call from the school nurse, who knew I was away, was no fun. Daddy took great care of her but I was happy to be back to snuggle and read with her before bed time. It’s our little ritual. Tonight, she even fell asleep on my and held me hostage. It’s amazing how relaxing it is to feel your child fall asleep on you.
Now it’s our turn to share some goodness with us. Go ahead, we don;t bite and we’d love to see what’s good in your life!
