“Every day may not be good… but there’s one good thing in every day!” ~Alice Morse Earle
I welcome you to my new project 365 and weekly link up #onegoodthing. My friend Leslie has agreed to help me host the link-up which goes live each Monday (well, actually Sunday night around 11 pm if you want to be exact) and we would love for you to link up and share your #onegoodthing with us and our readers. It can be anything good that day, week, month… a photo, an anecdote, a poem. There are no rules, just goodness and hopefully smiles along the way.
So much goodness again this week. So much to be grateful for. I grumble. I complain. I b***h. But in the end, all that matters is always right there. My family. My friends. The paradise I get to live in. All the other stuff is just extra, icing on the cake and one of the reasons I like my little project is the fact that it reminds me to let go of the worry and just enjoy. Things will happen in their own time, when they are supposed to. There’s only so much you can do…
Day 137. So proud of our Ally. She’s such a bright girl and so far learning has come very easy for her. It makes me happy that she enjoys it and it shows.
Day 138. The ducklings went for swim and I just happened to walk into the room when it was going on. Will miss these two cuties when they go back to the farm.
Day 139. Japanese bbq – yakiniku. So fun. So interesting… But definitely a bit time consuming.
Day 140. Work in full swing and the drive way was packed with work trucks. A sight I like to see. The clock is ticking and most of the reno should be done very soon.
Day 141. Rain season is right around the corner. We are getting used to our daily deluges again and it’s always a good thing when you walk into a place just before the down pour starts and get done right after it’s done.
Day 142. The light at the end of the tunnel. Right there is my happy place. My thinking place. My relaxing place. My feel good place. The beach. The ocean.
Day 143. This view. Very soon it will be what I see when I leave in the morning and come home in the afternoon. Beyond excited. Soon…
I wish you a wonderful week. Almost time to let the summer fun begin…
