One good thing… Day 241 to Day 253 {my project 365}

September 10, 2016

“Every day may not be good, but there is one good thing in every day!”

So this whole, I’ll post a once-a-week recap isn’t going too well. I’m wondering if I should just post my daily pics here and then share them across social media. Not sure if I want to flood your inboxes like that though… We’ll see.

We are back in full swing with the school year, work and my own school work. This year is truly off to a great start overall. The kids are happy with their classes and teachers. Which makes me happy. I have less of a work load which means I’m not as stressed out as I was last year which makes me even happier. Of course, I feel as though I need to step up my game when it comes to my school work, and I’m working on that. Still trying to figure out how to best fit it all in but I’m getting there… and I love the class and lab I’m currently taking. Anything that gets me out in nature and taking pics of my surroundings and environment is a good thing. 🙂

Here’s the recap of my #onegoodthing Instagram posts from the last (almost) two weeks:

Hope you enjoy your weekend and have a great week coming up! Time for me to take care of some stuff…

xoxo, Susi

    I love your dining set!! the wood is gorgeous.
    your little (? how big is that!!!??) hitchhiker is cute too. I think it’s cool you have iguanas – they are much nicer than our nasty ear-wig bugs. eewwws.

      What’s an ear-wig bug? And it’s a smart idea to stay away from the iguana, they have a tendency to be nasty. But I love snapping them from afar. 🙂 The egret was fairly small, definitely a juvenile. They can get pretty big. Love them!

      Thanks! The same to you. Things are definitely settling down and we are back into a pretty good routine. It’s amazing how much a shorter drive to school/work can improve your day to day. So much less stress!

    I am glad to hear that you are coping with your different ‘jobs’, well, actually doing better than just coping :). I posted my first article today in a long, long time, keeping my fingers crossed… I actually tried posting my insta to the blog and had the same fears you have. With IFTTT I was able to just post those with a specific tag. But I stopped that, too. Why? I don’t really know – hahaha. Ally is the real artist, isn’t she? First painting, now the violin – that’s awesome.

      Ally is definitely our little artist. All she ever wants is different art supplies. I went to get furniture for our front living room yesterday and the sales guy tried selling me this canvas with a few blue stripes on it. $300. I told him no thanks. I’ll buy a canvas and let Ally and Ash go crazy… 🙂
