June Recap Picture Collage {Not Quite Wordless Wednesday}

July 18, 2017

Hi. Helloooooo. Anyone out there? My name is Susi and I used to blog. Regularly. It’s been a while. About a month to be exact. Live’s happening and it’s all good.

Here’s a recap in pictures of happenings in June…

There was the super amazing U2 concert. Bono and the Edge still have it. Most definitely.

We celebrated middle daughter’s 14th birthday with a birthday dinner at the Melting Pot with the family and her bestie. She also had a birthday pool party with her friends. The house was full of teenagers and fun was had by all. I was never more thankful for the solitude and quiet in our bedroom at the end of the night, because I’m definitely not 14 anymore. 🙂

Field trips galore with camp… and my super-amazing teens as counselors. Surfing, kayaking, air boat rides and starfish touch tanks are just a few of the fun things we do each week.

My little mermaid and I are enjoying our backyard paradise and swim as often as the weather allows. The hammock is the perfect place to just relax and read a good book or two.

I also got some me time and enjoyed lunch with friends and an awesome view to boot. The food was pretty delicious too. Then there was the local winery and farm we’ve been meaning to check out and finally made it to after missing the turn. Laughing the whole time we tried figuring out how to get there. Sometimes, the car GPS is just a little vague. But in the end we enjoyed a beautiful evening, wine tasting, and talking, talking, talking… Awesomeness. 🙂

Oh, and I almost forgot. Little one decided it was time to get a few inches of hair lobbed off because she felt like she needed a change. Kids these days. But doesn’t she just look thrilled with herself, and oh so cute?

Ok. So not quite a wordless Wednesday… but I figured a few notes on the pics would explain things and also refresh my memory sometime down the road.

I hope, you are all enjoying your summer as much as I am. Talk soon.

xoxo, Susi
