Around Christmas time I read a newsletter I receive regularly from the amazing Karen Walrond and reading her words inspired me to look for the good around me and in my life.
So many bad and negative things are happening around the world that I wanted to do something to remind myself of the good things in my life. I want to make sure that I open my eyes and appreciate the little things. Be more intent. More in the moment. And since I’m a generally happy and positive person who likes to smile and make others smile, I decided to make the above quote my motto for this year.
I welcome you to my new project 365 and weekly link up #onegoodthing. My friends Claudia and Leslie have agreed to help me host the link-up which goes live each Monday (well, actually Sunday night around 11 pm if you want to be exact) and we would love for you to link up and share your #onegoodthing with us and our readers. It can be anything good that day, week, month… a photo, an anecdote, a poem. There are no rules, just goodness and hopefully smiles along the way.
I post a daily photo to my Instagram account using the hashtag #onegoodthing and then post a weekly recap here on the blog for the link-up. But as I said, no rules, so feel free to share once a week with a post, a photo, a story. If you have something good to share on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram we’d love it if you used the hashtag #onegoodthing so we can see it to0 and maybe share the love.
*Update (6/9/2016): I/we have decided to stop the link-up at this point since all of us are busy and don’t need the added work associated with a link-up. I will continue my project 365 and post an update/recap here once a week or so. Feel free to use the button if you would like to share a good thing that happened to you. Let me know so I can stop by and check it out! Thanks!!! xo, Susi
